General Oil Trade Holding, GOT, is an international oil company based in the Netherlands. Our work takes us all over the world, from Russia to Australia and from America to China.

Our philosophy is responsible use of energy and care for the environment. Our purpose is showing the other side of oil use: to help us grow without becoming dependent on it. We want the world to use a minimum amount of oil and get a maximum of energy in return.

Every society on our planet uses oil and oil products by boarding a plane to go on holiday, by packaging our groceries in plastic bags, by watching TV or cooking dinner. Most of the oil is used for transportation: for our cars and trucks, ships and planes. GOT found a way  to save oil by using natural gas instead of oil for our transportation. Natural gas is cheaper and more widely available as a natural resource.
If  50% of the vehicles in the world would run on gas, we would save 70 million barrels of oil a day in the future, and conserve essential oil products  we use in everyday life. The choice is ours.

Our philosophy of saving energy is also reflected in our way of trading and production. 65% of all our products is made of recycled materials. We use recycled metal to make a new generation of refineries and other machineries. The same goes for our SGS, the mobile and independently operating Natural Gas Station, and for the ships we build.
